This is where all the relevant information
on sheet metal profiling can be found.

What characterises the profiling procedure?

Profiling – also called roll forming or rolled profiles – is distinguished by the multi-stage deformation of a flat band of sheet metal in continuously consecutively-arranged rolling frames. With this procedure, PROFILMETALL creates open or closed profiles with very diverse cross-section geometries.

When is profiling preferably employed for the manufacture of profiles?

The advantage of profiling is the high yield performance. With our virtually unlimited forming spectrum, we achieve a high cost effectiveness in the series production of profiles.

When should one switch from stamping or extrusion to profiling?

For different length variants, punch-bent components with a large number of units can often permit more economical profiling. We also integrate product characteristics such as stamping, embossing or cut-outs cost-effectively and efficiently in the modular production process. We offer a genuine alternative to extrusion and reworking.
